What happened to the old benches at the Kallang National Stadium? We were commissioned by the then Singapore Sports Council (now “SportsSG”) to re-fashion them into tasteful memorabilia. Keeping in the essence to capture and forever enshrine the history of the old Kallang stadium, we repurposed the old benches into photo frames for the good folks and staff of the formerly known Singapore Sports Council.

Our woodwork experts cleaned, processed and treated the wood planks in several process stages to recondition and prepare the more than 40 year old wood (since 1973!) for the cutting stage. Adding on a customised magnetic photo holder and topping it off with a personalised message note completed the final product which was nestled in a nice presentation box.

We were proud to have been part of such a meaningful and eco-conscious project to commemorate and celebrate one of Singapore’s sporting icons!
